Mohammed Abu Obeid
Mohammed Abu Obeid is a Palestinian journalist who was born in Palestine and graduated from Birzeit University with a degree in History and Political Science. He moved to Dubai in 2001 to co-found a radio station at which he took lead of its news department. In 2003 he joined Alarabiya channel as it began; there he worked as an editor, presented news bulletins and hosted Sabah Alarabiya for eight years. He then moved to its sister channel, Al Hadath, in 2013 where he hosted the Hadath Studio program until April of this year. Mohammed is a talented calligrapher, a saxophone player and he writes poetry, but he is most well-known for his “Lingual Snippets” on social media where he shares his love and adoration of the Arabic language, and his deep understanding of its grammar and composition, thus contributing to the spread of its alluring beauty among people of all walks of life.
