Kawthar Al Atiyah is a Saudi contemporary artist whose practice delves into the intricate relationship between body and spirit. Employing contemporary techniques and sensorial approaches, she explores the human experience and visual identity through the mediums of painting and sculpture. Her work is distinguished by its attention to texture, form, and detail, offering a deeply immersive reflection on the human condition. Al Atiyah’s artistic journey is marked by participation in both local and international exhibitions, including VOLTA Art Fair at Art Basel, Switzerland (2025), MENART Fair in Paris (2024), exhibitions hosted by the Qatari Ministry of Culture and Art Week Riyadh (2025).
She is also set to participate in Art Fair London in 2026. Represented by Errm Art Gallery, Al Atiyah has contributed to the arts community through lectures and training programs in collaboration with the Misk Art Institute. Her influence in the regional art scene has been recognized by Forbes Middle East, which named her one of the most influential women in the Arab world.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts – Fine Art Photography from the College of Design and Arts (2022), and continues to expand her artistic practice through residencies and ongoing experimentation.
