Insaf Ben Othmane Hamrouni

Insaf Ben Othmane H. is a Tunisian architect, researcher and urban development strategist based in Dublin, Ireland.  She is a multidisciplinary and holds many degrees from many respective universities; she holds an HMONP (Habilité à la maîtrise d’oeuvre en son nom propre) and a master degree grade research from ENSA Paris La Villette, France; she also holds a DPLG ENAU from Tunisia, and a dual master's degree of science from the University of Stuttgart Germany and the University of Ain Shams, Cairo Egypt ( IUSD). 
She is the main founder of Oecumene Spaces for Dignity (known as Oecumene Studio) where architecture and art is questioned, rethought, and redefined to become a process to build societies, empower communities and support them to transmit their leg through generations: a complex mechanism to design possibilities for positive impact. She is the curator of the In-situ Community Build Exhibition: Ala-Abouh and ArchitectureForChange: Genius Tempus (Exhibition/Symposium/Workshop) Series.

By being a multidisciplinary in a variety fields, and by having heterogeneous studies, she become an enthusiast in sharing the knowledge equivalent to her work. She shares her passion by being a lecturer, key speaker, and jury in several international and national universities in Egypt, Tunisia, France, Jordan and USA. Among her courses, she developed unique techniques and tools to teach the theory of art and architecture, Urban Design, urban resilience, history of architecture and cities. She conducts several designs and build workshops that aim to foster sharing knowledge and collective intelligence to link theory with practice.
