Ibrahim Bugis is a Saudi visual artist and one of the pioneers of the Saudi art movement.⁠‌​‌‌​​​‌‌​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌‌​⁠ Born in Makkah in 1953, he draws inspiration from heritage and spatial memory, reinterpreting them through a visual language that combines abstraction, ornamentation, and expressive color. He has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions and is regarded as a key figure in establishing a strong sense of local identity within Saudi visual art.
