Hassan Abdalmwjood

Born in 1976, Hassan Abdulmwjood is journalist. He has worked as an editor ever since 1998, and as of today he is the Vice Deputy Editor in Chief for Adab newspaper. Furthermore, he has won many distinguishable awards, which include: The Dubai Cultural Journalism award in 2003, the Swaris award in 2005, the Yousif Idrees award distributed by the Supreme Council of Culture of Egypt, the Cairo International Book Fair for best book collection 2022, and finally, the Egyptian Journalists’ Union award in 2020 and 2021. He has won these awards for his following works respectively: حكايات الرهبان, عين القط, حروب فاتنة, البشر والسحالي, مكتب إبراهيم أصلان في التلغراف, and ملف وظيفي. He has written many book collections, such as ساق وحيدة in 2002, السهو والخطأ in 2016, حروب فاتنة in 2018, البشر والسحالي in 2021. Furthermore, he has also written two novels which include عين القط, which has been translation to German, and ناصية باتا. As a successful author, he has written multiple Arabic pieces that have been translated internationally. Nevertheless, he is known to be an enriching mentor due to his vast knowledge and experience in writing journalism and novels.
