Haji Jaber is an Eritrean novelist and journalist. He published many novels such as Samrawit that won the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity in 2012, and Black Foam which won the Katara Novel Prize in 2019. His works have been translated into many languages such as English, Italian and Hebrew.
