Faisal Darraj
Fakhri Saleh was born in the town of Al Yamoun, which is located near the city of Jenin, Palestine, where he completed his secondary education. He studied medicine at the University of Jordan for four years, and then moved to the Faculty of Arts at the same university, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in literature. He worked in the Jordanian and Arab press as a reporter and writer, then as a literary editor for a number of newspapers and magazines, and as a secretary for the editorial board of the cultural magazine Al-Mahd that was issued in Amman during the eighties. He also worked as head of the cultural department in the Addustour newspaper, then director of the editorial board of its cultural department (1997-2008), then a writer for a daily cultural column in the same newspaper (2008-2014).
