The Director of National Collections Management at Qatar National Library (A) and the Director of the IFLA Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa. She is a doctoral researcher at the University of Sheffield, specializing in national and public libraries, community development and sustainability. Alshammri has delivered more than 70 workshops and contributed to IFLA activities, international conferences and research projects.
