Dr. Babsail is a registered Consultant Architect, sustainable design strategist, and academic leader with over two decades of experience in climate-responsive architecture and net-zero energy strategies. As a Knowledge Expert, Dr. Babsail brings a well-rounded perspective to discussions on sustainable architecture, building climate adaptation, and human-centered spatial design.

He has held several key leadership positions, including General Manager of TUBA Real Estate Development, Founding Partner of Lime Design Lab, General Supervisor of Alasala Colleges, and Chairman of the Architecture Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).
He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an advanced credential from MIT. His research and practice focus on building energy efficiency, passive cooling, sustainable material innovation, and heat-mitigation strategies for arid urban environments.

Dedicated to talent development, Dr. Babsail has mentored three cohorts of emerging professionals through the KFUPM Mentorship Program. By integrating vernacular revival with technical building simulation, he provides expert insights into sustainable architecture, climate adaptation, and human-centered spatial design.
