Alya Alqarni
Alya is an interdisciplinary research-based designer and artist. She often displays her work in a tangible analog format, contrasting with her digital code-based process. Her latest works discussed the representation of the East from the Western perspective and the creation of otherness with her interest in the modern shapes of social and geopolitical structures. She investigates the future of the Islamic and Arab identity in the age where we depend on AI systems as an identification tool.
