Alaa Tarabzouni
Architectural
Alaa Trabzouni’s practice is grounded in the belief that context is both medium and muse. Because of her architectural training, she has developed a multimedia practice at the intersection of research, materiality, and site-specificity. Her work explores how environments, physical and intangible, shape meaning and perception. Through installations, objects, and curatorial frameworks, she investigates the reciprocal relationship between art, its surroundings, and the viewer’s encounter with it.
Tarabzouni holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture from Newcastle University and Pratt Institute in New York, respectively, and a Master’s in Art and Cultural Enterprise from Central Saint Martins, UAL, London. She has exhibited internationally, including Art Here at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Volta Art Basel, and 21,39 in Jeddah.
