Multidisciplinary Artist

Abeer Sultan (b. 1999) is a multidisciplinary Saudi artist based in Riyadh. Her practice incorporates moving images and sound to create nostalgic, meditative, and ritualistic atmospheres. She draws inspiration from literature, experimental music, surrealism, and mythology. Her work has been exhibited at Misk Art Institute, KSA (2022), Berlin Art Institute, Germany (2022), Noor Riyadh Festival (2023), and the Saudi Arabian Museum of Contemporary Art (2024).

She holds a BA in Graphic Design and Digital Media from Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University (2021) and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Museum Studies at SOAS University, London, in collaboration with Effat University, Jeddah. Sultan has participated in several international residencies, including Intermix in Paris, BAI in Berlin, and Masaha in Riyadh. She won the 48HR film challenge at the 2020 Red Sea Film Festival and has worked as an art and studio assistant. Her work reflects a deep interest in memory, identity, and storytelling.
