Where Earth inspires design
Earth is more than the planet we live on—it is our first home, where humans learned to observe, adapt and innovate. From its landscapes and natural resources, people have drawn inspiration that has shaped designs throughout history and provide solutions to many challenges.
In this track, campers explore how nature can spark ideas and fuel the design thinking process. They discover how observing the environment can lead to creative solutions and meaningful designs.
Through exploration, experimentation and hands-on creation, children begin to see the world through the eyes of young designers—curious, imaginative and inspired by the world around them.
Educational objectives:
• Recognize Earth as a living environment that inspires human ideas and designs.
• Explore how design can create solutions for survival and adaptation to environmental challenges.
• Strengthen creative thinking and the ability to express ideas through visual and tangible forms.
