Ithra Readers Club is an enriching youth forum where books from a variety of fields are discussed in public each month. The club aims to create a reader-friendly community and encourage discussions and analysis of serious books in a stimulating and liberating atmosphere. The books have been chosen by a committee from the Ithra Library team and have been approved by members before official club events.
Today’s reader is tomorrow's leader.

Tareq Al-Khawaji
Writer and Cultural Consultant at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra). His published works include Anime Castle, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Wide-Staring Eyes, as well as the translated book Room to Dream
Hudhayfah Taher
A master’s student in Finance at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), as well as an avid reader and a former iRead participant
Maryam Faqehi
Media producer and presenter, holding a bachelor’s degree in Media and Public Relations with a minor in Radio and Television from the University of Bahrain
Mohammed Ait Hanna
A Moroccan writer and translator, and a researcher in philosophy, literature and aesthetics
Safiya Al-Jafri
Writer and Researcher who offers a renewal-oriented perspective on social and family issues. She holds a master’s degree in the principles of Islamic jurisprudence. She is the author of Constancy and Change in Juristic Rulings
Amal Abdulaziz
A Cultural blogger and publisher, actively contributing to the cultural movement in Saudi Arabia. An avid reader with a deep interest in thought and literature
Hosni Malek
Writer and Researcher in Arabic literature, holds a diploma in Arabic language studies and a keen interest in Arab heritage
Raed Al-Bughli
Writer and Journalist with a strong interest in literature. He has contributed to several local and Gulf newspapers, most notably Al-Watan (Saudi Arabia), Al-Youm (Saudi Arabia) and Al-Nahar (Kuwait)
