Open until 12:30 am
In this open-format talk, artist and filmmaker Mohammed Alfaraj takes us on a personal journey into his experimental filmmaking practice. He shares how stories can emerge from unexpected elements—landscapes, natural materials, the sounds found in farms and even silence.
Together, participants will get to reflect on how stories can be told from non-human perspectives, and how they are translated into visual and sonic forms using simple tools and a sincere creative spirit.
The talk will include clips from his films, followed by an open dialogue session with the audience.
