A fusion celebrating Arabic rhythms and Swedish melodies, led by the soulful voice of Nadin Al-Khalidi.

In an evening filled with emotion and identity, Ithra Theater welcomes Tarabband, led by the exceptional Nadin Al-Khalidi, in a live concert that blends classical Arabic rhythms with contemporary global sounds.

Founded in Sweden in 2008 by Nadin Al-Khalidi and Gabriel Hermansson, Tarabband was born from a musical vision that weaves identity, love, and resilience into songs inspired by deeply personal experiences. At its heart is Nadin, with her one-of-a-kind voice,  turning pain into hope and a journey into song.

Nadin Al-Khalidi fled Iraq as a refugee in 2001,  carrying with her the memories of a homeland and searching for a new sense of belonging. In the far northern part of Europe, she found her voice, crafting music that reflects her spirit. In 2014, she received the  Tradition Bearer of the Year award at the Swedish  World Music Awards, honoring her unique contribution in blending Eastern heritage with contemporary style.

When music meets identity, a story begins.
