Make Them Feel the Space: A Storytelling Lab for Architectural & Interior Visualization

In an age where photorealism is the norm, this two-day immersive workshop dares to ask: what makes a space feel real?

Designed for architects, interior designers and visual artists, Make Them Feel the Space is a hands-on storytelling lab that reframes visualization as an emotional experience, not just a technical exercise. Led by Youssef Abdelrahman, this workshop blends narrative, A.I. and atmosphere to elevate how we design, style and present interior and architectural spaces.

Day One:

Focuses on emotional foundations – exploring memory, mood and micro-narratives. Through a series of engaging activities including The Memory Room and the Micro-Narrative Styling Challenge, participants learn how to infuse visuals with personal meaning and emotional texture. A.I. tools like Midjourney and RunwayML are introduced as creative collaborators, helping attendees craft compelling mood boards and visual prompts.

Day Two:

dives deeper into emotional storytelling through sound, color and time. Participants experiment with interpreting music into spatial design, explore color psychology, and discover how different times of day transform a scene’s narrative. The day concludes with Describe Without Showing, a unique exercise that turns words into images – showcasing how powerful visuals begin with story.

This workshop isn’t about making better renders. It’s about making your audience feel the story behind them. Whether you're pitching a concept, selling a vision or sparking imagination – this is how you make it unforgettable.
