"Crafts from What’s Around Us"

Campers will explore and improve traditional crafts that once had abundant local resources available in their environment, which were utilized in crafting. Participants will engage in discussions about sustainable methods and experiment with innovative tools inspired by their surroundings. By merging innovation with technology, they will try to rethink the process of crafting in today’s world.

 

Educational Goals:

  • Learn about traditional crafts and explore their sustainability and development using modern materials, methods and technologies that enhance the ease and enjoyment of crafting.
  • Fostering appreciation for the preservation, development and integration of traditional crafts into our daily lives, while also discovering the most famous crafts from various regions of the Kingdom.
  • Enhancing campers' creative thinking and enabling them to create anything to meet their needs using available materials.
