The harsher the wait, the faster the desire to stay alive fades.
This play revolves around a child waiting for his father, who left to pursue and secure a better life for the family. However, the father never returned, and the boy's mother passed away while he continued waiting near an old port. During this prolonged wait, a series of events unfold, leading the boy to the realization that the longer the wait, the faster the will to live dies—and the closer he comes to departing this world.
