Pathways of Earth and Palm is an immersive, participatory installation that weaves together the natural and cultural landscapes of Saudi Arabia through architectural form, materiality and movement. Inspired by the ancient techniques of mud architecture and palm weaving, the work takes the shape of a spiraling labyrinth — an organic structure that evokes both the flow of desert dunes and the intricate layers of textile craftsmanship. The installation invites visitors to navigate through a series of winding corridors, each embedded with textures, woven details and subtle interventions that recall traditional craftsmanship. The walls, composed of earth and palm fiber, act as a tactile archive, reflecting both resilience and fragility in material culture. Fragmented narratives unfold along these paths, whispering stories of place, migration and collective memory.
