How can sciences and humanities be classified in a manner that not only separates them, but also establishes a hierarchy between them. This system of preference is a result of a recently constructed way of thinking. In this discussion, we aim to delve into the history of how we constructed the sciences and the humanities, and how our view of them evolved. The discussion that follows will approach ways that we could fashion a system of thinking that normalizes interdisciplinary within all classifications.
