Jaha is a Saudi artist, born in 1954 in the holy city of Mecca, where he currently lives and works. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, and has worked as an art teacher. During his professional career, he participated in a number of local and international exhibitions including the Commercial Islamic Exhibition in Tunisia, the International Biennale in Sharjah (1993), the Visual Arts Exhibition in Turkey, and the Asian Biennale in Bangladesh (1989). Jaha has won several prestigious awards for his work, including the Golden Palm Award in Riyadh’s First GCC Periodic Exhibition.
