Born in Bahrain in 1952, Almosawi has been a professional artist for more than forty years and is the founder of the Art and Peace Project in 1991. In 1975 he received his Diploma from the Teacher Training college in Bahrain, followed by a Bachelors in Interior Design from the University of Cairo in 1979. Almosawi participated in a number of group exhibitions in addition to solo exhibitions around the world. His art form is mostly impressionistic, depicting stories and a play between nature and the surrounding environment. As a man true to his environment, he adds a traditional flavor to his art.
