Bader Al Essa is an artist who uses photography, video, writing and installation to explore and document the history of people on the Arabian Peninsula. He is inspired by both the land and the stories of his subjects. He sheds light on the human story by focusing on concepts of silence and memory. In 2018, Al Essa founded the Taleed Initiative that links past to present and focuses on strengthening the documentation of our heritage using up-to-date technologies and communication approaches that keep pace with modern life.
