Course Brief Description:

This unique course welcomes artists, art critics, art theorists, typographers, Arabic calligraphers, designers and sculptors into a non-academic introspective journey of the creative process, as it manifests itself in various domains of creative art and design. Throughout this special course, over the course of five days, participants will acquire rich knowledge from rich and complex experience rather relying only on traditional classroom techniques. The participants will be armed with a strong set of original ideas; the journey will take a fresh look at a number of both established practices as well as previously untapped topics. As a masterclass, it shall examine a variety of dualities: art and design, heritage and modern age, sketch and finished artwork, calligraphy and type design and many others. Participants will explore all of these topics with interactive practices to enhance their learning experience over five days.
As a professional course, the participants will experience different innovative models and arts such as bilingual models, creative designs, inherited arts, modern art, drawings and high professional art works, typographical fonts and lines and others that will enhance their artistic taste and outcome as well as enabling them professionally.
