With Shahad AlShiddi

Shahad AlShiddi is an interior architect and a critic in the field of interior architecture and design. In 2015, she established the department of interior design at Design Concept, a consultancy firm in the Abdulrahman Almuaibid Group. She led various projects, including design, implementation, residential, administrative, commercial and charity work.
AlShiddi also founded Seventh Line Store in 2017, providing a number of products and designs featuring works of Arabic calligraphy and abstract art, via many different mediums like canvas or souvenirs. This year, she started her academic career as a Professional Practice lecturer at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University.
AlShiddi’s artistic passion makes her a forward-looking person who loves to learn. Working in various companies in the region has given her a wide range of experience. This led her to open Design Concept, where she trains students, giving them real-market experience.
AlShiddi designed the Mujassam Watan, now a landmark on Khobar Corniche, which marked the start of the annual Mujassam Watan Competition sponsored by the Al Fozan Social Foundation. In addition, she has served on a number of design juries in the region, including Bahrain.
