Material Potential with Concrete Canvas

Imagine the strength of concrete in a single piece of cloth. This is a concrete canvas. In this workshop, we explore the potential for creating that this revolutionary material provides. By analyzing the material and developing an understanding of the context of its use, the designers of Concrete Canvas were able to create solutions across numerous sectors such as architecture, design, and maintenance. The workshop will use the three working themes of repair, protection, and reinforcement.

Presented in four-hour sessions over four days, this workshop highlights the many potentials of materials and expands the interactions and processes that the materials can undergo to amplify their functionality.
