Masterclass subtitle: Art + Business Collaborations
There is a growing interest from the business community to collaborate with artists. With a different perspective, an alternative language, and a resilient attitude, art potentially has a lot to offer society and business. And while the world is faced with increasingly tough challenges, it is also important for the artist to relate directly to the reality of the business world and not lock themselves in an ivory tower. Artist and artistic researcher Arne Hendriks works together with various commercial and social partners in meeting some of those tough challenges with a creative mindset. In this masterclass, he will share his experiences and enter into speculative collaboration with the participants of the masterclass. The emphasis is on creating space within the company for collaboration, finding practical ways to work together, and speculating about the possible outcomes of such a collaboration.
