The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) celebrates International Arabic Language Day through highlighting Al-Muwashahat art, as well as outlining the origins of this art, its history, how it was developed and its beauty. Various events inspired by this art will be discussed in a panel discussion hosted by the Iraqi Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim and the Saudi Dr. Mohammed Alamri that will address the origins of Al-Muwashahat and its formative structures. The panel will also go through the beauty of poetry with the Iraqi author Saeed Alghanmi and the Saudi Dr. Auday Al-Harbash, and include a book signing. The event will have a number of activities, workshops, a musical show for a famous Andalusian Muwashahat.
