Ahmed Alshaiba Concert (Ages +12)

Ahmed Alshaiba will perform songs from his album exclusively.

Alshaiba will perform live at Ithra for Saudi National Day along with a series of other instrumentalists where he will play some of his most evocative music from around the Kingdom and beyond.

Ahmed Alshaiba is on a mission to help the world appreciate one of the oldest and most beautiful musical instruments ever conceived: the oud. One of his specialisms in playing versions of contemporary music, including Western popular music, on the oud which are featured on his Album. His covers include music as diverse as Michael Jackson, Luis Fonsi and Clean Bandit. He has also reinterpreted Arabian favorites including Ya Rayah and Nour El Ain and created a medley called “My Trip Around the Arab World,” which is a stirring series of oud instrumentals of traditional songs from each Arabian country. His musical influences include German jazz, which he encountered in Egypt, Middle Eastern musician Farid al-Atrash and Spanish guitarist Paco De Lucia. He has played live concerts all over the world.
