Rehaf Hamza Qassas
Director of the intangible heritage at the Saudi Heritage Preservation Society, she is a certified expert for UNESCO as part of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. She has more than six years of experience in cultural heritage and in preparing documents for UNESCO.

She has traveled the world since she was young and has been introduced to different cultures. She was surprised that the heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was unknown to the outside world. This made her keen on highlighting the beautiful cultural of the Kingdom to make it better known locally and internationally. She has been interested in showcasing the Kingdom’s identity through its diverse heritage, and in preserving it for future generations through working on projects related to local organizations such as the Saudi Heritage Preservation Society.

Qassas holds a bachelor’s degree in archaeological restoration and a master’s degree in global heritage and the development of cultural projects. She also has a diploma in management of intangible cultural heritage.
