Haifa Al Hababi holds a PhD in architecture from the University of London and a Master of Philosophy in art, design and architecture from Glasgow School of Art, as well as a BA in fine art from King Saud University. She made a two hour documentary film that talks about the history of the region of Asir as told through the art, architecture, frescoes and lifestyles of the people; and which looks at how religion, politics and socio-economic factors have impacted on Saudi Arabia in general and the region of Asir in particular.

Haifa used to work at Prince Sultan university as Assistant professor, and Deputy Executive Director /project Manager at Saudi Heritage Preservation Society.
The Founder of Harfeen.com None profit organization that support Architect and interior designers in Saudi. Elected member at Women Engineers committee– SCE "Saudi Council of Engineers" 2016-2018.


Selected as a 2016 Global Thinker, Foreign Police. One of the Main Participants in the inclusion of "Alqatt AlAsiri" on the representative list of the intangible Cultural heritage of humanity, UNESCO 2017.
Speaker at national and international forums, and a member of several national boards such as (Technical and Vocational Training Corporation advisory board, IEEE Women in Engineering board, Saudi Women Association for Architecture heritage board
Writes a weekly column in Alwatan “Saudi Arabia” newspaper.
