The Chehade Brothers are renowned as multifaceted musicians with virtuoso skills in both melodic and rhythmic Arabic instruments - the oud, bouzok, kanoun, kananjeh, nay, as well as the tabla, katem and riq. Growing up in a home that was a meeting point for poets and musicians, they have dedicated their lives and careers to keeping alive near forgotten forms of improvised music.
This concert promises to be a celebration of world music fusion, as well as an exquisite example of the Chehade Brothers’ musical take on the Eastern notion of ‘inaccessible simplicity’.
