Film and Special Effects Makeup

Students will learn to apply professional makeup for a variety of characters and roles
for cinema/film/television plus knowledge of professional makeup materials, tools, techniques and processes.

Day 1
Demonstration by the instructors, participants will use make-up on themselves under the direction of the instructors.

Day 2
Participants will pair up with a partner to do makeup on each other.
Intro to Special Effects, Cuts, Bruises and Wounds.

Day 3
Students will be doing a 3D trauma makeup on their partner using Trauma Scenarios.
Students will be responsible for reading the scenario, doing the visual research, sketches and applying the makeup on their partner.
