Crankie Workshop

Tell your story, but tell it with style!
At the "Crankie Workshop," participants will be able to compose and create their own stories with a vibrant rolling paper, injecting them with soul-reviving landscapes and animating them with dolls and sticks.
This workshop is designed to revive the 19th-century’s popular art of using dolls and stick to narrate a story.
Workshop Outputs:
• Create a device of interest and art to tell a story
o Build a pre-fabricated carton box
o Check for the art of animation and animator input for hands
o Use of the voice
o Basic mechanisms, effects, and systems to automate work with puppets
o Test animation with puppets and crankie
