Tarek Atrissi

Tarek Atrissi is a Dutch -Lebanese Graphic designer and typographer running his internationally acknowledge design studio based in Barcelona, Spain. He is one of the most recognized designers in the Arab world and his work has received international awards for his work, including the Type Directors Club New York, The Adobe Design Achievement awards, and the design for Asia award, among others. Atrissi's clients include Apple, Mathaf Museum of Modern Art and the V&A museum in London. He is the founder of Arabic Typography , an Arabic Type Foundry designing and developing Arabic Typefaces for branding needs. Tarek is on the advisory committee of the Creative Industries Funds in the Netherlands, the cultural fund for architecture, design and digital culture supported by the ministry of Education and culture in Holland.
