Haneen Omar

Haneen Omar is an Algerian poet and novelist who is interested in the traditional research and literary criticism. She was the first Arab poet to enter American cinema in American Hustle. She wrote the first Arabic poem to feature in a Hollywood movie. She started her career as a poet in 2007 when she participated in the Prince of Poets Program. Some of her works include The Door of Heaven and The Memory of the Devil. Some of her poems were transformed into songs, such as What is Next? Currently, Haneen manages the Honest Translation program, also called Memoriam, and is a specialized researcher in poetic translation and literary criticism, both in the Arabic School of Translation, managed by Dar Al-Hikmah, and the Association of Egyptian Translators and Linguists. Haneen is fluent in three languages: French, Arabic, and English.
