Dr. Nabil Bahgat is a writer, a theater director, and head of the theater department at Helwan University, and has officially represented Egypt in many cultural forums and events worldwide. Dr. Bahgat the director and founder of Wamda, a band for shadow and puppet shows, in addition to being a scientific expert at UNESCO in this field. Dr. Bahgat directed and produced 36 theatrical works, all presented through the Wamda and exhibited in more than 30 countries, including Tunisia, Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, France, USA, Spain, Italy and others in a number of languages. Dr. Nabil Bahgat has 13 books, including the Egyptian Aragouz which is the first documentary of puppet theater published in both Arabic and English.
