The ceremony of the Reading Enrichment Program (iRead), now in its seventh cycle, is a celebration of reading and readers. It honors the winners of the Reading Competition, where seven readers from around the Kingdom compete in front of the judging commitee which includes Saudi writer Dr. Khalid Al Rifai, Iraqi writer Dr. Mohsen Al-Ramli and Omani writer Bushra Khalfan. The ceremony will also feature a speech by Moroccan writer Dr. Abdelfattah Kilito, a poem by the Bahraini poet Qassim Haddad and a song by Kuwaiti artist Hammoud Alkhudir, as well as a theatrical performance entitled "Falling off a Warm Text."

"Falling off a Warm Text” is a play about a word that escapes from a text to which it was added. The word wants to get back to its original text, so it looks for a way to return.
