Learn the art of storyboards for film and TV covering script reading and interpretation,
taking direction, contributing ideas and visual storytelling through design and shot composition. This interactive 3-day workshop demonstrates the process behind the building blocks and initial stages of visualization used by many of the world’s leading content producers. Storyboards are where it all starts and the participants of this course will learn from practical, hands on demos from an internationally acclaimed storyboard artist, producing their own storyboards, ready for production. The participants will interpret a given script and direction to produce their own storyboards.

 

Day 1
What are storyboards?
Drawing demonstrations, understanding shot composition and meaning.
Group drawing.

Day 2
Reading and interpreting the script.
Thumbnails and starting to visualize initial ideas.
Review and finalizing ideas.

Day 3
Creating the finished storyboards.
Presenting the final storyboards to the production.
