A preserved Syrian room dating back to the late Ottoman period found its current home at Ithra Museum. The Damascus Room was used to host guests by the Damascus family who owned it, with a collection of Islamic decorations and inscriptions filling the wooden walls, which now sits at the Kunooz Gallery.

With origins dating back to the early 1700s, the historic room features intricately preserved woodwork mounted on the ceiling and walls, as well as Islamic art. Learn more
