Erik Melver teaches theatre arts at Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Erik has been teaching theatre arts full time overseas for the last thirteen years, initially in Hong Kong.  He has two bachelor’s degrees: one in theater direction/acting and the other in music composition from Pacific Lutheran University.  He also has a Master in Professional Actor Training from Ohio University.  He is a Fulbright Scholar (Chejudo, Korea 1996) and has professionally produced theatre in New York City for a couple years after graduate school.  When he isn’t working on producing live theatre and teaching drama and comedy to middle schoolers, he produces hundreds of abstract and landscape paintings every year that are hanging in private collections all over the world.
