Diya Yousef is an award-winning independent artist, writer and film director. She has also worked in newspaper and magazine writing and editing, as well as in PR and serving on juries for awards. One of her most notable films is Weld Sidra which has won three prizes. She studied creative and professional script writing at the University of Southern California and with Film Independent in Los Angeles. She is also a consultant jury member with Ithra’s iRead national initiative.
