When can we visit Ithra?

Opening times are:

Daily: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Friday: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Sunday: Closed

What are the available sections at Ithra?

The open sections in the first phase (June 23 to July 4) are: the Plaza, Ithra Museum "Kunooz” and “Rihlaat" galleries, the Archive, outdoor activities, Knowledge Tower, the Library, the Ithra Shop and the restaurants: Ewan and Pattis.

The second phase will begin on July 6. It will include all sections of the first phase and add the Children's Museum, the Energy Exhibition, Cinema, Theater and the Great Hall.

Will the Center's restaurants and cafes be open?

Yes. Ewan restaurant and Pattis Café will serve.

Are people under 15 allowed to visit Ithra?

Yes.

Is it allowed to bring food from outside the Center?

Yes, but only in the Plaza. Food is not allowed inside Ithra’s other facilities. Visitors will have access to a restaurant (Ewan) and a café (Pattis).

What are the precautionary measures implemented by the Center?
  • The temperature of each visitor will be measured upon entry. If their temperature is above 38 degrees Celsius, they will not be permitted into Ithra.
  • All visitors are required to wear face masks at all times.
  • Hand disinfectants are present throughout the Center.
  • Social distancing is required and it will be announced by signage.
  • Ithra’s mosque will be equipped with social distancing markers between worshippers.
  • Ithra has thermal sensor cameras to measure the temperature of individuals within the Center.
  • All books will be disinfected regularly.
What are Ithra’s programs during the upcoming period?

Some of our programs include: The Heroes exhibition which introduces and celebrates the heroes who have been on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. There is also a regular Story Time activity for children – fun reading sessions aimed at developing in children the love of books and growing their passion for reading. The entertainment sessions will also include a range of activities, in addition to the Mara’ina and Being Saudi exhibitions.

Are cash payments allowed?

No, only contactless payments are allowed.

With the reopening of the Center, are the Ithra Connect activities going to end?

No. Ithra Connect activities will remain available through Ithra’s social media platforms and our website: https://www.ithra.com/ar/ithra-goes-virtual/
