Reimagining the Crafts of Saudi Arabia Challenge

Saudi Arabia has a rich and unique heritage of fine craft and traditional arts. The distinctly Saudi historical palette of materials, techniques, patterns and color combinations offers a huge bounty of possibilities that can serve as inspiration for a new generation of designers. Participants will be challenged to create a contemporary response to the traditional crafts of Saudi Arabia. Saudi heritage product experts, Qormoz, will provide knowledge and support. Through a series of conversations and critiques, participants will develop concepts, refine their ideas and create a final product. The winner will have their product displayed in Qormuz stores.
