Ardhah Folk Performances

Al-Ardhah is a folk dance of peace and war as it was used as a martial art, especially during the period of the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It has become a regular feature of various festive occasions. Al-Ardhah has attracted the attention of many Arab writers and historians, such as the famous writer Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad. The Saudi Arda was listed as "intangible heritage" by UNESCO in 2015.
