Mahabharata Nalacharitam

Brief

A large epic theater production with 32 cast members and live musicians that fuses traditional Japanese story-telling with drama to bring this tale to life for new generations.

The performance is an extract from the Indian epic “The Mahabharata" that focuses on an unbreakable love between two people: the beautiful princess Damyanti, famed across the world for her attractiveness and noble character, and King Nala – known for his horsemanship and for being the world’s greatest cook. Their love triumphs through the odds and difficulties which life throws at them.
