Play is an essential part of every individual’s life. On this camp track, children will have the opportunity to learn about different types of games, and have the chance to develop their own.
- Game developer
- Game designer
a. Product Play:
Toy Figure Making: Inspired by different set of materials, children will design and develop their own toy figures.
Create your own Board Games: Young innovators are introduced to tangible games, such as backgammon or chess in Gallery 3. The games will allow them to create their own rules, elements, and details. They will build the field, create the units, and design the playing restrictions that will ultimately be turned into a full-fledged board game to compete with one another for an engaging and rewarding experience.
Sand it up: Children will be able to test a sand formula until the appropriate consistency is found, followed by different sand play activities.
b. Process Play:
Verbal Games:Young thinkers will be devising games that require nothing physical. Once the rules are set by children, they will take turns playing the games they have created for each other. This will be the most mentally, engaging task, much like you would expect from its title.
c. Space Play:
Obstacle Track: In teams, young adventurers will build an entire obstacle track from start to finish. The catch, however, is this: they will build it for the competing team to go through! The team that makes the competitive team take the longest time through the track wins. This will allow the children to brainstorm challenging yet fun obstacles, and at the same time, work their way through them in a time bound adventure.
Coded Games: During this program participants will be introduced to first hand coding, testing and playing a game. Games includes Lego Robots and the Superhero electronic ball.
