Language: Arabic, This 3-day workshop aims to help designers develop their portfolios in a way that best represents their body of practice

Whatever field of design you come from, you will always find yourself in the position where you need to share and present your work. Participants will also tackle the concept of an interview, whether for landing a job, or getting commissioned to design something.

Day 1:

  • Portfolio, what and why. (Lecture, 1.5 hours)
  • Good practices/samples review. (Lecture, 1.5 hours)
  • Q&A, discussion. (30 minutes)

Day 2:

  • Building a template that complements your work. (Lecture, 30 minutes/Hands-on, 1 hour)
  • Talking about, and presenting your work. (Lecture, 30 minutes/Hands-on, 1 hour)
  • Choosing the work to include in your portfolio. (30 minutes)
  • Q&A, discussion. (30 minutes)

Day 3:

  • Working on/reviewing participants' portfolios. (Hands-on, 2 hours)
  • How and where do I share my portfolio? (Lecture, 30 minutes)
  • Mock-interview/presentation. (Participants' presentation, 1 hour)
  • Q&A, discussion. (30 minutes)
