Ithra Hosts Arab League Summit in The Great Hall

The 29th Arab League Summit, where leaders and heads of states participating to address challenges facing the nation, was hosted at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in The Great Hall.
The Great hall is considered to be a point of contact to different cultures by offering exhibitions and events from around the world, as well as conferences, targeting 500,000 visitors per year.
The Grand hall is built in a modern design with an area of 1,600 square-meter, between the silent minerals and the historical motifs. It is featured an ultra modern copper interior, the floor is made of recycled bamboo wood, the corners are curved.
An outdoor oasis surrounded by a botanical wall followed to the Great Hall includes a Roman amphitheater.
The Great Hall is a unique architectural design that could carry more that 2,000 person. Huge television screens surrounds The Hall in addition to television screens hanging in different corners.
The Great Hall is aimed to celebrate the diversity of different cultures around the world.
